New Moon Trailer Premiere

Hi all. Just watched the New Moon trailer on the MTV Movie Awards show.

First thoughts... Looks very exciting. But anything I say here are my initial thoughts based on a quick peek. I'll have to see the trailer a few more times to really get a feel for it.

The trailer showed Jacob (Taylor Lautner) run and morph into a wolf mid-jump. It was super cool. I need to get another look at that wolf though.. Right now, it's reminding me of the animals in The Golden Compass (which Chris Weitz directed). Wolfy Jacob seems more like an overgrown collie than a scary werewolf. He should initially seem really scary, until you get to know him (like Bella did in the book).

Well, that's it for now. I'll get back to you after I watch it a few more times. Then I can really break it down for you!

Go watch it and please write a comment telling me what you think!!

Later!

New Moon Official Trailer Premiere - MTV Movie Awards

This Sunday at 9 pm the MTV Movie Awards will air on MTV. I'm not sure exactly what time the trailer will premiere but sometime after 9 pm and before 10:45 pm. AND it will be introduced by the cast of New Moon. So, try not to miss that Twilighters!

I'm not a big fan of movie award shows but I was already toying with the idea of watching this one because it's being hosted by the effervescent Andy Samberg (I'm in love with Andy and his The Lonely Island cohorts Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone). After reading that the cast of New Moon will premiere the New Moon trailer, it's a done deal. I'm going to have to watch now.

If you happen to miss the awards show, the New Moon trailer will air online at 10:45 pm Sunday night. Watch it in HD on myspace here. Or come on back to this blog to view it! The 'Count Down to New Moon' app on this blog's sidebar will simultaneously air the trailer.

It's coming Twilighters, slowly but surely!
